but short, short talks about computers, prime-time tv and "the latest thing". Always avoiding boredom, I distract myself with visual design, Chomsky and creatively-terrible movies.
My avatar is of me taped by my roommates to a formerly-abandoned cross outside our apartment during a Hallowe'en party I hosted in 2003. More photos here. (I was later carried down the street 2 blocks and propped up against a Café where other costumed onlookers shared in the reveling. I later carried the cross back to the apartment while being whipped by a skeleton Halloween decoration by my Judaism-supporting roommate.)

I'm having a problem saving my account>filters preference.
I selet "Hide Region Blocked videos" and I keep getting:
"failed to save your preferences - please correct the indicated errors"
with no errors indicated.

You don't need to call *discard. You only need to call *dupeof=[link] and that will automatically kill that video while transferring all votes to the original video owner.

Maybe there's a limit to how many we can have? I had 3 at the time already. I was hoping to gather more for a major double-promote haduken, but realized I was missing out on getting another with time if I just waited. So I used them.

I am very reluctant to weigh in here,
had I not had the support and understanding of the admins here on VideoSift, I would have left VideoSift because of Choggie.
I avoid him here, and have always chosen not to partake in discussions.
Those who know me here would know it's not something I like to do. And I don't like it. And the sentiment is common with others as well.
Choggie may be the village idiot beloved by experienced site-goers (those posting here and all those reading this), but as you guys don't know how he harassed me (with private profile messages, downvoted all my videos, got someone else to as well, and threatened further repurcussions), I worry we can't know the extent of his damage to others, and possibility of continued damage.
He damages the Sift.
It's intolerable and inexcusable.
He knew it before, and he knew it then, yet he continued and even after permanent banning continued to continue.
He had his chances. And then some.
